CHAMBERLAIN GROUP PARTNERS WITH EVE TO DELIVER MYQ TECHNOLOGY TO TESLA DRIVERS

MyQ Is the First Garage App to be integrated into EVE for Tesla In-Dash Touchscreen Experience

OAK BROOK, Ill. (January 9, 2018) — Tesla drivers will soon have convenient, touchscreen access to the Chamberlain Group’s MyQ smart-home features. Chamberlain Group, a global leader in access solutions with its Chamberlain and LiftMaster garage door opener brands, announces a new partnership with EVE (Evolved Vehicle Environments), makers of the EVE for Tesla in-dash touchscreen experience, to deliver in-vehicle smart-home capabilities in the new EVEConnect release scheduled for availability later this quarter.

Including MyQ technology in EVEConnect, an upgraded platform available by subscription, will enable Tesla Model S and Model X owners with MyQ-enabled Chamberlain and LiftMaster garage door openers to be prompted to open their garage door with a single in-dash touch when their vehicle enters a predetermined geofenced area in proximity to their home. MyQ is the first garage door control app to seamlessly integrate into the EVE for Tesla in-dash touchscreen experience, providing new levels of convenience to Tesla owners. In addition, for added security, owners can check the status and be able to open/close their garage door from the comfort of their vehicle, as well as control smart home lighting.

The new EVEConnect release integrates a variety of connected home devices and brands into one environment, allowing users to control locks, garage doors, lights, thermostats and more, all from the vehicle’s touchscreen. Functions can also be automated to correspond with events like leaving or coming home, giving drivers peace of mind and added convenience.

The MyQ integration with EVE for Tesla’s Premium Membership, will be available through monthly or yearly paid subscriptions.
