Documentation

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor choice Repeatedly fails to work when there is fog or rain. Avoid any product using this lens, it will have you running out in the rain to close gate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unreliable I can fully confirm ALL of the issues described by the 2 previous reviewers. I also confirm that Liftmaster will totally ignore your support requests if you are not a registered professional installer. Their excuse is safety issues. Surprisingly, other companies that make gate operators and which I can not name due to the review rules have no problem helping DIY users and one would think that they would be concerned with the safety as well. All the bad-weather related LMRRU issues make the gate operator pointless, because you have to get out of your vehicle to wipe the sensors. All the other problems that he system has by design, make me feel like I just wasted over a $1000. This product deserves zero stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst ever Unit does not close when it rains or its foggy. I have used rain x and rain anti fog as my subcontractor has directed and still it does not function. Perhaps its something to do with the installation , but my subcontractor says its installed correct. I will never recommend this product to my clients.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just terrible This product functions fine under perfect weather conditions but when there is a decent rainstorm the hood does not prevent water droplets from colleting on the lens which causes the gate to be inoperable until the lens is wiped off. Also every morning dew collects on the lens causing the gate to be inoperable until the lens is wiped off. I'd rather take the risk of my car being damaged by the gate than deal with this horrible product. Liftmasters engineering team must have put this this photo eye through some very rigorous testing before bringing to the market...(that was very heavy sarcasm by the way) Icing on the cake is they will only deal with a liftmaster dealer on their customer support lines for liability concerns, so the only help I got was try putting a water repellent on the lens to try and make their horrible product somewhat functional.
