Rated 3 out of 5 by from Finally After obtaining the correct wireless door opener (I have an older door opener and ordered the incorrect unit) the unit was easy to program and works very well. Support was difficult to contact, they never responded, via the web site but was good when I called with my problem. Amanda steered me to the correct unit, answered my questions, and facilitated returning the incorrect unit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't mean to hit a thumbs down on review! I accidentally added a "this wasn't helpful 'thumbs down' " to a review! I didn't mean to, and it wouldn't let me "undo". I have this opener at home and we've had at work for years! I've found nothing wrong with them! I am now in the market for 2 news one, because the work one went out, and the other one that's a different typem, that we had for the office, didn't really ever work, so we're going to stick to this one, because it's "tried and true!" Great price point/value!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job but PIN claim is wrong Website description is misleading about the number of unique PIN codes allowed. It only allows 1 permanent PIN + 1 temporary PIN (limited to either # of openings or # of hours) PER opener. So if you only need 1 master code and a backup emergency code, this is a perfect solution. If you need more than those 2 codes, you'll need to keep looking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It will eventually fail These remotes are made relatively cheaply. They are an easy way to mount a keypad type entry box. Generally when they are set up, you can go for a long time without issues, but they are designed with silicone button matrix that has some type of carbon coating for the push button electrical switch. Over time, this will wear out. There are kits available to refurbish these types of connections, which are similar to those found in your tv remote. You can recoat the contact surfaces so that the electrical conductivity is restored. However the hard part is opening the case which is plastic welded together. A higher quality unit would have screws that would allow opening the unit for such a repair, but it's obviously made as a throw-away unit even though they are not that cheap to buy. The actual long term fix for this is to install a higher quality keypad that's wired to your opener.
